New Delhi: A sensational case of raping a 40-year-old female employee at GB Pant Hospital in the country's capital Delhi has come to light. The young man known to the victim has committed a fatal attack on her and raped her. It is alleged that the young man attacked the woman's face with a heavy object, broke her teeth and then raped her. The accused, who fled after the incident, has been caught by the police. In this regard, the police have started investigation by registering a case against him under the sections of rape and assault. At the same time, the CCTV footage installed in the hospital is being scanned. However, DCP Sanjay Kumar Sen has denied that the woman was raped. He says that after questioning the woman and medical test, it has been found that her teeth have been broken by attacking her head with some heavy object. The accused appears to have assaulted the woman, and during that time also kicked her. However, the police is investigating keeping all aspects in mind. At around 8 am on May 2, the police called the woman's 20-year-old son to the hospital, when he came to know about the ordeal that had happened to the mother. The son has alleged that the police is making light of the matter. The aggrieved party says that he wants concrete action in the matter, but the police is not listening to him. On the other hand, the badly injured woman has been admitted to the ICU of Lok Nayak Jayaprakash (LNJP) Hospital, where her condition is said to be critical. On May 2 itself, the victim was operated upon in emergency. According to the victim's son, his mother is on a ventilator in the ICU and is in critical condition. On the other hand, the police have told about the accused that he is an old acquaintance of the victim woman and he works as a waiter. After taking the statement of the woman, he has been arrested from Jhilmil area. As per reports, the victim lives with her family in East Delhi. She works as a contractor in GB Pant Hospital. The woman's husband had died a year ago due to cancer. She is on duty every day between 3 pm to 10 pm. She was leaving the hospital after finishing duty on the night of May 1. During this, the accused stopped her in the hospital itself and assaulted her and raped her. The accused had fled after committing the crime.
