Jaipur: Alwar court has sentenced 4 criminals to 7 years in the Rakbar Khan mob lynching case of Rajasthan. Along with this, a criminal Naval Kishore has been released by the court. The criminals sentenced by the court include Paramjeet, Dharmendra, Naresh and Vijay. In 2018, Rakbar Khan was beaten to death in Rajasthan's Alwar district on suspicion of cow smuggling. Naval Kishore Sharma, a local Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader, was arrested for his alleged involvement in the case. Sharma was allegedly part of the mob that lynched Rakbar on suspicion of cattle smuggling. Aslam and Rakbar were going to their village in Bharatpur district with cows and were lynched by a mob. However, due to this Aslam somehow escaped. The police reached the spot and took the injured Rakbar and the cows to the Ramgarh police station. The injured Rakbar was put in the police station and other policemen went to the gaushala to take care of the cows. After an hour or so, Rakbar was sent to Ramgarh Hospital, where he was declared brought dead. The postmortem report of Rakbar Khan, who was killed on suspicion of cow slaughter, revealed that he did not die in police custody but was thrashed by the mob. It has been revealed in the report that all the injuries of Rakbar were done 12 hours before postmortem and then Rakbar was not arrested by the police. The postmortem report revealed that all the injuries suffered by Rakbar were 12 hours old. Means around 12 o'clock in the night. But the police got the first call at 12:41 about the arrest of the cattle smuggler. That is, Rakbar's death was due to the thrashing of the mob.
