Indore: On Tuesday, there has been a rapid increase in the number of corona infected in Indore city of Madhya Pradesh. On Tuesday, 8149 samples were tested, out of which 319 newly infected patients were found, while the figure of infected patients found on Monday was 137. In a single day, the number of infected has more than doubled. So far 3166128 people have been tested in Indore, out of which 154437 people have been found infected so far. At present, treatment of 820 corona infected is going on in Indore. On Tuesday, 48 patients recovered from the hospital and returned to their homes. One person died of corona on this day in the city.
So far in Indore, the death toll due to corona has reached 1397. In view of the increasing cases of corona virus, the national sub junior and cadet table tennis tournament to be held in the city has been canceled. Om Soni, Senior Vice President of Table Tennis Association of India said that the national event was to be held from January 11 to 19. For the time being it has been cancelled.
In Madhya Pradesh, the number of corona patients is increasing rapidly. In 24 hours, 594 corona cases have been found in Madhya Pradesh. With this, ten times patients have been found in the last 9 days. On December 26, 30 patients were found in the state, while on Monday, 308 patients were found in the test of 58,044 samples. Now 31 districts of the state are in the grip of Corona. The figure of active patients in these districts is 1029. Of these, 143 patients are admitted in private or government hospitals. Meaning only 14 percent of the patients are in hospitals.
