TRIPURA: In an attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress ahead of the Tripura Assembly elections, Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal and leader of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), said on Tuesday that the BJP's team B is the Congress. TMC workers and supporters marched in Agartala on Tuesday in support of Mamata Banerjee, who is eager to increase her party's presence in other states ahead of the February 16 Tripura Assembly elections. Voter tallies will be tallied on March 2. In her remarks to the public gathering, Mamata said, "We have worked for Bengal's growth. Swasthya Sathi cards are what we offer for health insurance. The Ayushman Bharat card issued by the national government lacks trust. She claimed that discussions about the Bengal model are taking place on a global scale. "Under the double-engine government, unemployment has soared by 40% across the nation. Have they stayed true to their promises? Has the $15 million arrived in your account? She inquired. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate are sent to the homes of the Opposition leaders because, according to her, the BJP is unable to engage in political combat. Has black money returned since demonetization? Will we receive our money back if Life Insurance Corporation of India and State Bank of India fail? In the midst of the Adani controversy, Mamata remarked, "If you people think that with the help of ED and CBI, we will be wiped away, that is not easy. Mamata criticised the BJP-led Centre, claiming that it is withholding the payment due for 100 days of work. She said that the federal government is also collecting state taxes. "We have created jobs in the educational sector. However, legal action is being pursued against them because there might be some errors. Has something similar occurred in other states? In connection with the alleged unauthorised appointment of assistant teachers through the West Bengal Central School Service Commission (WBSSC), the CBI had already issued a chargesheet against 12 people, including Subiresh Bhattachary, the former chairman of the WBCSSC. The CBI also named a former assistant secretary of the WBCSSC, an ex-advisor, two former programme officers of the commission and six others in the chargesheet submitted before an Alipore special judge. Santi Prasad Sinha, Ashok Kr Saha, Kalyanmoy Ganguly, Parna Bose, Samarjit Acharya, Prasanna Kumar Roy, Pradip Singh, Jnui Das, Md Azad Ali Mirza, Imam Momin, and Rohit Kumar Jha were the accused listed in the chargesheet. The TMC leader attacked the Congress, calling it the BJP's team B. "This Congress is not that I was once affiliated with," she said. If it was, I would have stayed at that party all night.
