Chitrakoot: Many heartbreaking cases continue to come from Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, Sushil Gautam (28) son Bhupat Gautam was surrounded by five-six people of the village, who are going to worship at the temple in Tiloli village of Mau police station area in Chitrakoot city late Sunday evening. Attackers armed with lathi-sticks and sharp tools started abusing the person, and brutally beaten and murdered him. Villagers who came in anger blocked the Jhansi-Mirzapur highway. The jam remained on the entire route for a long time. Sushil Gautam, a resident of the village used to work in Mumbai and he returned to village in lockdown. On giving information about the case, elder brother Sanjay Gautam said that he has a house in Shivpur in Mau town. Explaining further, he said that Sushil went to see the farm. In the temple near the farm, he was going to worship like every day. Then due to enmity, the attackers beaten and murdered him. On the other hand, the villagers and family told that the police car went through the spot at the time of the incident, which they tried to stop, but the police car did not stop. Family members said that the police arrived a long time after informing about the incident. Due to the jam on the highway, hundreds of vehicles lined up on both sides of the road. The family filed a report and demanded the arrest of the perpetrators of the murder. Due to the late night jam, the top police officers were busy trying to convince the villagers and family members on the occasion. The jam was ended on the arrest of SDM criminals and the assurance of strict action. The case is now being investigated by the police.
