Jaipur: In the ravines of Dholpur in Rajasthan, which had been quiet for a long time, on Wednesday (February 1), once again the crackle of guns resounded. On the one hand, there were Naresh Gurjar and Bunty Pandit, two accomplices of notorious dacoit Keshav Gurjar, and on the other, policemen standing around them in a bunker-like structure about 30 feet high. After about 40 rounds of firing, the police forced both these dacoits to surrender. This incident took place on Tuesday evening in the ravines of Madpura under the Sone Ka Gurja police station area. Police are interrogating both the dacoits arrested in this encounter. According to the Dholpur police, both these dacoits managed to escape during the encounter of Keshav Gurjar, a dacoit carrying a prize of Rs 1.25 lakh. It is worth mentioning that two days back there was a police encounter with dacoit Keshav Gurjar in the Dang area. This dacoit, who was absconding for ten years with a reward of 1.25 lakh, was arrested by the police from Dang hills after shooting in the leg. But, during this time his younger brother dacoit Naresh Gurjar managed to escape along with one of his accomplices, Bunty Pandit. The police were searching for these two miscreants. Meanwhile, on Tuesday morning, information was received that both these miscreants are hiding in the hills around Madpura. In a hurry, the Dholpur Superintendent of Police formed a team under the leadership of CO Bari Manish Kumar and sent a large number of police force. But these dacoits sensed the arrival of the police and started firing with sophisticated weapons. The police also retaliated for about two hours and finally forced both the dacoits to surrender.
