Due to Corona, there has been a huge impact on every region of the country, in the meantime, CBSE has changed the system of the 10th and 12th examination for the session 2021-2022. This time the CBSE board will take the exam twice for both these classes. In this regard, CBSE has issued a circular that how and on the basis of which syllabus these examinations will be taken. Similarly, if there is any problem due to corona this time too, then in view of that, CBSE has prescribed four methods of assessment. These methods will work like this:- 1- If schools are able to open for both term examinations: - If the situation of the corona epidemic improves, then both term-1 and term-2 examinations will be held at the school or examination center. The marks of both the term will be considered as equal (50:50) contributions to the final result. 2- If schools remain closed in Term-1, open for Term-2:- If schools do not open, then the Term-1 examination will be conducted from home through offline or online medium. If the schools are opened till the Term-2 examination, the examination will be conducted in the traditional way. The weightage of marks of Term-1 will be reduced in the final results. 3- If Term-1 is in school, the school cannot open in Term-2:- If the term-1 exam is in school, but due to epidemic conditions, the school remains closed continuously till March-April, then the Term-2 paper Won't happen. The result will be prepared on the basis of term-1 and internal assessment. 4- If the school remains closed in both Term-1 and Term-2:- if the school is not able to open on a single day during the entire session, then in such a situation, both the Term-1 and Term-2 examinations will be given by the student from home. The result will be prepared by adding the marks of internal assessment with the marks of both the term. What will be the pattern of the first term? # At the end of the first term, the CBSE board will take the term-1 examination. It will be taken between November-December 2021. # There will be multiple choice questions in this. In this, questions will come from the syllabus of Term-1 only. Students will have to answer on the OMR sheet. # The test for each paper will be for 90 minutes. # The question papers will be sent by CBSE only. The exam will be held in the same school where the students are studying. But the external center superintendent and observer will be appointed by the CBSE board to monitor the examination. # The OMR sheet will be scanned and uploaded on the CBSE website, or the school will evaluate the marks and upload the marks on the CBSE portal. The board will take a final decision on this, and inform the schools. What will be the pattern of the second term exam? # This exam will be taken between March-April 2022. The paper will be for 2 hours. # Term-2 or year-end exam will also be conducted by CBSE. This, in addition to the syllabus included in the first term, questions will be asked from the remaining 50% syllabus. # Different types of questions will be asked in this. That is, it will include multiple-choice questions as well as short answer and detailed answer questions. # But if there is any problem due to corona, then the term-2 exam will also be reduced to 90 minutes. Then this exam will be of Multiple Choice Questions only like Term-1. The marks of both the terms will be added to the overall board results of the students.
