Bhopal's 'millionaire' clerk, 2.17 crore cash and 8 kg gold found from his home

Bhopal: CBI have so far recovered Rs 2.17 crore from the house of a FCI clerk on corruption charges in Madhya Pradesh's economic capital Bhopal. At the same time, CBI got 8 kg of gold from there. The CBI team had raided the clerk's house on Friday night. A record scrutiny has so far revealed Rs 2.17 crore. CBI has taken this action in the bribery case. The anti-corruption squad had caught four persons, including a divisional manager, red-handed in a bribery case

The CBI proceedings are still going on at the residence of clerk Kishore Meera Meena in Chola area. At the same time, CBI found many evidences of corruption from his house. The clerk also reportedly kept the bribe money of the three arrested managers with him. Three persons including clerk Kishore Meena and manager were arrested red handed for accepting bribes after a Gurgaon security agency complained of corruption. Further action was then initiated. The investigation revealed that he used to keep everyone's bribe money at his residence. Kishore Meena had reportedly earlier worked as a security guard in FCI. He was made a clock because he was involved in corruption with senior officials.

The CBI team has seized rs 2.17 crore as well as note counting machine from Kishore Meena's house. It has also recovered 8 kg gold and silver. A Gurgaon company had complained to bhopal CBI about accepting bribes in FCI. The complaint said that the manager of the FCI along with other employees was taking bribes in a big way. After receiving the news, CBI had laid a trap and called the accused to a temple. The two accused were then caught red handed accepting bribes.
