NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a charming new arrival at his 7, Lok Kalyan Marg residence: a calf named 'Deepjyoti'. In a recent post on X, PM Modi shared that 'Gau Mata' (the sacred cow) has given birth to this delightful calf right at his residence. He also posted a heartwarming video of himself interacting with the calf, showcasing their special moments together. According to Modi, Indian scriptures highlight the significance of cows, saying, "Gaavh Sarvasukh Pradaah," meaning that cows bring happiness and prosperity. He explained that the calf has a unique mark of light on its forehead, which inspired him to name it 'Deepjyoti,' symbolizing 'light.' In his posts, the Prime Minister expressed his joy, saying, "A new member has arrived at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg! Deepjyoti is truly adorable." He shared photos and a video montage featuring tender moments with the calf, including carrying it around the residence, sitting with it in his temple, and showing it around the garden.
