About 600 buses are operated from Jabalpur, but about 150 buses are operating due to corona period. The general secretary and fare fixation board member Jai Kumar Jain has written a letter to the Transport Secretary, Government of Madhya Pradesh. In this, he has conveyed, "They are not getting the passengers on the routes due to corona infection. The bus owners are not able to afford the salaries of driver, helper and conductor, diesel, and tax. The economic condition of many bus owners has deteriorated. It has become necessary to increase the fare. If the bus fare is not increased by 17th October, the buses will stop operating.
