Bus Carrying Policemen Returning from Chhindwara Election Duty Overturns in Madhya Pradesh, 21 injured

Rajgarh: Yesterday, at around 4:15 am, a bus carrying policemen who had completed election duty in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, was involved in a collision near Neem Pani Dhaba. The bus, en route to Rajgarh via Betul, overturned after colliding with a truck, resulting in injuries to 21 individuals.

Out of the 21 injured policemen, 12 were admitted to Shahpur Community Health Centre, while the remaining nine were taken to Betul District Hospital for further treatment.

Upon receiving information about the accident, police officials, including the Betul Superintendent of Police and Additional Superintendent of Police, immediately reached the accident site to oversee the rescue operations.

Authorities from Betul Kotwali police station and Ganj police station, along with other police personnel, also rushed to Betul District Hospital to ensure that the injured received prompt medical attention.

The accident occurred following the conclusion of polling for the six parliamentary seats in Madhya Pradesh—Sidhi, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat, and Chhindwara—which took place on Friday.
