Barmer: Once again, a gang of robber brides in the Barmer district of Rajasthan has made a man their victim. Here, a tout got a married woman from Gujarat to a man and duped her of Rs 3 lakh. The bride has also fled with the jewellery after 15 days of the wedding. The entire family, including the groom, has been shocked by the matter. According to the report, Mehram, a resident of Bhimra in the Barmer district, lodged a report at the police station on February 4. In it, she said that Jogaram, who lives in his neighbourhood, had talked about getting him married a few months ago. In return, he asked for Rs 3 lakh. Subsequently, on November 24, 2021, the tout came to Barmer with the girl and got him married in court. Subsequently, the victim gave Rs 3 lakh to two others, including Jogaram. The same Mehram took a bride named Mamta to his village after marrying her in the court in Barmer. He got married there according to Hindu customs and the man said that everything was going well in the Arbhink days. After about 10 days, the bride Mamta deposited 40 thousand rupees in her brother's account on some pretext. The victim said that in the month of December, he had gone on a wage when the bride Mamta fled with jewellery and Rs 50,000. On coming back, when Mamta was not found at home, he called her. On this, she said that her mother's health was bad. She said to be back in 15 to 20 days. Then, when the man became suspicious, he also discussed with the broker, but he was also not responding. Several days later, a complaint was filed. According to the victim, when he repeatedly called the bride and asked her when she would come, she said that she was already married and had a daughter. Hearing this Mehram was shocked. In this case, police investigating officer Inder Singh said that based on the victim's report, a case has been registered and an investigation has been started. In the report, a complaint has been lodged against others, including tout Jogaram, for conspiracy to create a marriage by preparing fake documents.
