Breaking: Train Services Disrupted Near Mumbai After Banker Engine Derails; Restoration Underway

Mumbai, Maharashtra – Train services were disrupted on Wednesday after a banker engine derailed near Kasara station in Thane district, causing delays for long-distance mail and express trains passing through the area. Central Railway issued an advisory warning passengers of potential delays for trains on this route.

Railway authorities have been working quickly to restore normal services, with teams actively handling the restoration process at the incident location.

The Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of Central Railway said, "Some mail and express trains are likely to experience delays due to the derailment of the banker engine near Kasara station. Restoration work is in progress." The CPRO added that suburban services to Kasara are unaffected and running on schedule.
