In Nashik district, Maharashtra, a Sukhoi fighter jet of the Indian Air Force crashed on Tuesday. The incident occurred near Shirasgaon village at around 1:20 PM, police reported. Fortunately, both the pilot and co-pilot managed to eject safely before the crash. The aircraft was being flown by Wing Commander Bokil and his second-in-command, Biswas. After ejecting, both pilots suffered minor injuries and were promptly taken to the HAL hospital for treatment. Following the crash, the jet caught fire, which was quickly extinguished. Debris from the aircraft is scattered within a 500-meter radius around the crash site.
