NEW DELHI: Delhi Court Extends Custody of Kejriwal, Sisodia, K Kavitha in Excise Duty Scam Case: In a recent development, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court has extended the judicial custody of several prominent figures, including Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, and BRS leader K Kavitha. This extension relates to their involvement in the ongoing investigation into the alleged Delhi liquor excise duty scam. The case, which revolves around the now-cancelled Delhi liquor excise policy for 2021-22, is under scrutiny by both the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The court has decided to prolong the judicial custody of the accused until August 9 for the CBI investigation and until August 13 for the ED inquiry. The extension comes as the investigation continues into the charges and allegations surrounding the controversial liquor policy. More to Come,.........................
