The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) announced on Monday that the exam for assistant professor recruitment will be held on September 21. The two-hour exam will be held at several centres between 12 and 2 p.m. For the post of assistant professor, a written (objective) competitive examination will be given for three courses: Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Candidates who have applied for the examination can view the announcement on the BPSC's official website (bpsc.bih.nic.in). According to the BPSC, applicants are being shortlisted based on their applications. The list of qualified applicants for the written (objective) examination will be released by the commission. One week before the test, selected applicants will be able to get their admit cards from the BPSC's official website. The Commission will choose 287 applicants based on their merit in this recruiting drive. The Commission will compile a merit list based on the written test, academics, interview, and job experience of candidates. The employees selected for the job will be offered handsome salaries, perks and benefits, as per the 7th pay commission. The salary ranges reportedly from Rs 9,300 to Rs 34,800. Last month, BPSC released the annual recruitment exam calendar 2021. It issued the details of recruitment exams that are scheduled to be held in 2021. According to the BPSC calendar, the 67th Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination is scheduled to be held on December 12 while the BPSC CDPO Prelims exam 2021 will be conducted on October 31.
