JAIPUR: Samaram, the BJP candidate, emerged victorious in the Pindwara Abu seat elections. This particular seat, numbered as Assembly constituency no.147, is situated in the Sirohi district of Rajasthan, falling within the North West region of India. Pindwara Abu forms part of the 18th Jalore (General) Lok Sabha constituency and is characterized as a Scheduled Tribe, Rural constituency. According to the Delimitation Commission's 2008 report, Pindwara Abu Assembly constituency comprises an estimated Scheduled Caste population of 11.48% and an estimated Scheduled Tribe population of 39.17%. The district, within which this constituency lies, exhibited an approximate literacy level of 55.25% as per the Census of India in 2011. During the 2023 Rajasthan Assembly elections, the constituency had 2,27,856 eligible electors, including 1,17,780 male voters, 1,10,076 female voters, and individuals registered as the third gender.
