Agartala: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tripura today protested against the violence in West Bengal since the election results. In Tripura, BJP workers have lit candles to protest the Bengal violence. Following the call of CM Biplab Kumar Deb, BJP workers and supporters in all parts of the state protested against the murderous game in Bengal by lighting 5 candles in front of their homes at 7 pm. After lighting a candle outside his house, CM Biplab Kumar Deb said that today state BJP workers across Tripura state protested against the ongoing violence in West Bengal. He also prayed to God for the peace of the souls of BJP workers who were killed in post-election political violence. Deb said BJP workers are being selectively targeted after the election results in West Bengal. And they are being killed violently. Which is against democratic tradition. Biplab Deb further said that all Tripura workers have expressed their protest by lighting five candles in front of their homes against the peace of the soul of the workers killed in political violence in Bengal and the atrocities on young, women, and elderly workers of the BJP.
