BJP Unveils 15 More Candidates for Rajasthan Polls - 198 Out of 200 Declared

Jaipur: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled a list of 15 candidates for the upcoming Rajasthan assembly elections, scheduled for November 25. This list introduces a fresh lineup of candidates, and the party has made significant changes by dropping some incumbents and introducing new faces.

 

Key highlights from the list include:

In the Mawli (Udaipur) constituency, sitting MLA Dharmnarayan Joshi has been replaced with K G Paliwal.

Several new faces are entering the electoral arena, including Gopal Sharma from Civil Lines and Ravi Nayyar from Adarsh Nagar.

Poonam Kanwar Bhati, initially announced as a candidate in the third list on November 2, has been replaced by her son Anshuman Singh Bhati in the Kolayat seat.

Other notable candidates include Amit Chaudhary for Hanumangarh, Chandramohan Batvada for Kishanpole, Vijay Bansal for Bharatpur, former MLAs Rajkumar Rinwa for Sardarshahar, Prahlad Gunjal for Kota North, and Babu Singh Rathore for Shergarh.

Candidates for Shahpura, Rajakhera, Masuda, Pipalda, and Baran-Atru constituencies have also been announced.

With the release of this fifth list, the BJP has now revealed candidates for 198 out of the 200 assembly seats in the state of Rajasthan. The final date for filing nominations is November 6.

These candidate selections highlight the party's strategy and the inclusion of new faces, reflecting the BJP's efforts to secure a strong presence in the upcoming elections. The party's choices in key constituencies will undoubtedly shape the political landscape in Rajasthan.
