New Delhi: Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Jyotiraditya Scindia met Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Monday. He met him at his official residence. On the question of the expansion of the Council of Ministers, Jyotiraditya Scindia said, "There will be no discussion on this subject as it is the right of the Chief Minister and the top leadership." After meeting the Chief Minister, both Scindia and Shivraj Singh Chauhan decided to attend a wedding ceremony in the family of Minister Prahlad Patel and both flew to the historic city of Orchha. Since the results of the byelection have come, it has been speculated that Scindia's two staunch supporters Tulsi Silavat and Govind Singh Rajput will rejoin the Council of Ministers soon.
The pro-Scindia and Rajputs have won the elections in the by-elections. Supporters of Scindia, Edal Singh Kanshana, Imarti Devi and Girraj Dandotia have lost the by-elections. After all this, the three ministers have resigned from the Council of Ministers.
