Cryptocurrency Market Updates: Early on September 3, major cryptocurrencies were trading down as the market cap of all cryptocurrencies fell by 0.39 percent, to USD 978.54 billion, from the previous day. Over the past 24 hours, the overall volume of the crypto market increased by 1.39 percent to USD 62.74 billion. Decentralized finance (DeFi) activity was USD 5.08 billion, or 8.09 percent of the 24-hour volume on the crypto market. The total volume of stablecoins was USD 57.05 billion, or 90.92 percent of the 24-hour volume of the cryptocurrency market. The cost of one bitcoin was almost Rs 16.52 lakh. According to CoinMarketCap, it controls 39.01 percent of the market, a drop of 90.92 percent from the previous day. The largest tech company in Indonesia, PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GoTo), also joined the cryptocurrency market by purchasing a local cryptocurrency exchange, PT Kripto Maksima Koin, in an effort to expand its offerings, according to a statement from GoTo.
