Despite the chilly weather, devotees flocked to Ayodhya's Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple for a glimpse of Ram Lalla on the third day after the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony. Many arrived early on Thursday to partake in the divine experience. As the crowd swelled at the Ram Mandir, Chief Priest Acharya Satyendra Das of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra conveyed that an appeal had been made for devotees to patiently await their turn for darshan, and it seems the request is being honored. "This marks the fourth day since the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla. Devotees have been welcomed since January 22, witnessing a significant turnout initially. However, people are now approaching the darshan with patience and calmness, as per our appeal," said Acharya Satyendra Das. Praveen Kumar, IG Range Ayodhya, shared insights into the crowd management measures implemented for the occasion. "Today is the auspicious festival of Paush Poornima, attracting individuals for a holy dip. People from nearby areas are arriving on foot, forming two queues each extending a kilometer. Belongings must be deposited at the Public Facilitation Centre (PFC), equipped with baggage scanners and a physical frisking center." Emphasizing safety, Praveen Kumar assured, "Public transport has been enhanced for the secure travel of visitors. Security measures are in place, and devotees are observing discipline during darshan. The administration and police personnel are diligently executing the orders of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath." In a plea to enhance the overall experience at the Ram Mandir, Praveen Kumar urged devotees to minimize their luggage. "We urge people to bring fewer belongings to expedite the process." The Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla at the Ram Temple occurred on Monday, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the ceremony. Approximately 8,000 attendees, including 1,500-1,600 distinguished guests, were part of the event. Ayodhya, also known as the 'Ram Nagri,' gained international attention with the illumination of earthen lamps and crackers lighting up the night sky throughout the city.
