In Goalpara, the STF apprehended two individuals with a small amount of heroin. During interrogation, they revealed that a larger stash was hidden in a nearby house. Following this lead, 140 soap boxes filled with heroin were recovered from the house.

In Guwahati's Katabari area, another operation resulted in the capture of two drug peddlers with 308 grams of heroin.
