'PM Modi gets respect everywhere in the world..,' Gehlot explains reason for this?

Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday heaped praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi said that Modi gets respect all over the world because he is the PM of a country where the roots of democracy are strong and which is the country of Mahatma Gandhi. Gehlot said this while addressing the 'Pride Story of Mangarh Dham' program at Mangarh Dham near Banswara. During this, PM Modi was also present on the stage.

CM Gehlot said, 'When PM Modi goes to countries around the world, how much respect does he get? Why does this happen... Because Narendra Modi Ji is the Prime Minister of that country, which is Gandhi's country, where the roots of democracy are strong and deep. Democracy has survived even after 70 years of independence. The hill of Mangarh holds special significance for the Bhil community and other tribes of Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. During the freedom struggle, the Bhils and other tribes fought the British for a long time. On November 17, 1913, more than 1.5 lakh Bhils, led by freedom fighter Shri Govind Guru, held a meeting on Mangarh hill. The British opened fire on this gathering, in which about 1,500 tribals died.'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Mangarh Dham in Banswara. Addressing the program, PM Modi said, 'Unfortunately, this sacrifice of tribal society did not get the place it should have got in history. Today, the country is filling that gap. India's past, history, present and future are not complete without tribal society. The massacre that took place in Mangarh on November 17, 1913, was the culmination of the brutality of British rule. On this hill of Mangarh, the British government surrounded more than 1500 people and killed them.'
