Bajaj is constantly improving the range of its popular electric scooter Chetak. Recently, the company has launched the Chetak Blue 3202 variant, which comes with many new features and affordable price. Due to this new model, the sales of the scooter are expected to increase. Waiting for swappable battery: Customers are eagerly waiting for the model with swappable battery. Last year, the company had said that it is working on a new electric scooter in which the battery can be easily replaced. This means that users will be able to continue the journey without worrying about charging. However, currently the battery installed in Chetak Blue 3202 can also be charged at home. Features of Chetak Blue 3202: Bajaj has kept the ex-showroom price of Chetak Blue 3202 at Rs 1.15 lakh. It uses cells made with new technology, which claim to give more range without increasing the battery capacity. Due to this, the range of this scooter has increased from 126 km to 137 km. The earlier Urban variant was priced at Rs 1.23 lakh, i.e. the new variant is cheaper by Rs 8,000. Charging and Features: The Chetak Blue 3202 takes 5 hours and 50 minutes to fully charge with a 650W charger. Its features include keyless ignition, color LCD display, sports mode, and Bluetooth connectivity. The top speed of this scooter is 73 kmph and it can be purchased in four colors - Blue, White, Black, and Gray. Chetak 3201 Edition: Apart from this, in August the company has also launched a new edition called Chetak 3201. Its ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 1.30 lakh and it can also be purchased from e-commerce websites like Amazon. The range of this model is 136 km on full charge and it has an IP 67 rating, which makes it water resistant. Features like Bluetooth connectivity, color TFT display, and auto hazard light are also present in it. This move of Bajaj can bring a big change in the electric scooter market. The Chetak Blue 3202 variant can be successful in attracting customers with its affordable price and better range. Does Jaya really stop Amitabh from partying?
