Guntur: Andhra Pradesh BJP president Daggubati Purandheswari has urged the public to bring an end to the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) regime, citing the need to break free from what she termed a "destructive rule." Speaking at a press conference in Narasapuram on Thursday, Purandheswari conveyed a strong desire for change and progress in the governance of the state. Addressing electoral strategies, Purandheswari stressed the significance of effective grassroots-level campaigning and organisation. She underscored the importance of coordinating party workers' efforts to enhance outreach and engagement with voters. Ahead of the upcoming Parliamentary Elections, Purandheswari revealed plans for Election Management Committee meetings to streamline campaign efforts and ensure strategic alignment within the party. Recognising the importance of grassroots activism, Purandheswari highlighted the need to incorporate ideas from local activists into the party's broader agenda. She emphasised the significance of community-driven initiatives and solutions. Addressing concerns regarding party unity, Purandheswari underscored the importance of alliance parties remaining cohesive despite ideological differences, emphasising a collective commitment to shared objectives. On the issue of accountability, Purandheswari issued a warning that the people would hold the YSRCP accountable for their financial obligations. She advocated for a focus on fiscal responsibility and transparency in governance. Shifting focus to national politics, Purandheswari praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's governance at the Centre, describing it as corruption-free and effective. She highlighted key achievements under the Modi regime, including the repeal of Article 370 and the establishment of the Ayodhya statue of Bala Ram Prana Pratishta. In conclusion, Purandheswari asserted that Prime Minister Modi's leadership has positively impacted the lives of the poor and is actively working towards poverty reduction nationwide.
