New Delhi: The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) administration has taken serious note of the issue of caste slogans being written on its walls. The committee, comprising the dean of the School of International Studies and Grievances, has been asked to immediately inquire and submit a report to the vice-chancellor. On Thursday ( December 1), casteist and controversial slogans were written on the walls of the buildings located on the university campus. The BJP's student wing ABVP had blamed the Left student organizations on the campus for this. At the same time, Supreme Court advocate Vineet Jindal has filed a complaint with DCP South West and SHO Vasant Kunj in this case. The complaint given by the lawyer has made allegations under sections 153A and B, 505, 506, and 34 of the IPC. In the complaint, allegations of making casteist remarks against the Vaishya and Brahmin communities and threatening to kill them have been made. Vineet Jindal said that the series of anti-national, anti-social activities in JNU is not stopping. People of such ideology, which wants to spread anarchy in the country, are in large numbers in JNU. In JNU, strict action needs to be taken against those who threaten to kill over caste. They are members of the Tukde Tukde gang. Controversial slogans were written on the walls of several buildings located on the university campus. Along with this, some professors were asked to go to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) instead of the university at the gate of the chambers. A photo of it became increasingly viral on social media. Anti-Brahmin and Vaishya community slogans were found written on the walls of the School of International Studies-II building. Slogans like 'Brahmin-Baniya, Hum Aa Rahe Hai Badla Lene', 'Brahmin Campus Chhodo, Brahmin Bharat chhodo', and 'Ab Khoon Bahega' were written on the walls. At the same time, 'Go back to the branch' was also written on the door of the chamber of 3 professors.
