The Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, is all set to address a public gathering today in Paliganj, Bihar. The event is aimed at connecting with people from the Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Economically Backward Classes (EBC) ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. This marks Shah's first visit to Bihar since the new government formed in January 2024 under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's leadership. Shah's scheduled appearance in Paliganj, near Patna, is expected to bolster support for the BJP across five Lok Sabha constituencies, namely Patliputra, Arrah, Patna Sahib, Jahanabad, and Hajipur. The event, organized by the Bihar BJP OBC Morcha, has seen meticulous planning by party workers to ensure its success. Sanjeev Kumar Chaurasia, the General Secretary of Bihar BJP OBC Morcha, expressed enthusiasm for Shah's visit, highlighting the anticipated turnout and the Home Minister's role as an inspiration.
