Air Asia Berhad is set to commence a direct flight service from Thiruvananthapuram International Airport to Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, starting from February 21, according to an announcement from the airport. The service will be facilitated by an Airbus 320 aircraft capable of accommodating 180 passengers. Initially, flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from Thiruvananthapuram, with arrival scheduled for 11:50 PM and departure at 12:25 AM.
