Dehradun: A surprising case has come to light in Pingals under the Baijnath police station area of the Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand. Here a woman and her child were killed and their dead bodies were thrown in the field. A knife was found in the woman's stomach, with marks of crushing her face with a stone, while the child's neck also had cut wounds. The police have taken both bodies into custody and sent them for postmortem. Both have not been identified. At the same time, there is an atmosphere of panic in the entire Katyur valley due to this incident. On Monday (February 6) in Pinglo village, a woman was killed and her body was thrown in the field. The age of the woman is said to be around 35 to 40 years. A knife has also been found near the woman's body. The dead body of a six to an eight-year-old child has been recovered from the field 200 meters away from the dead body of the woman. Police Station President Baijnath Kailash Bisht reached with the police force. Police took both bodies in possession and sent them for postmortem. Late in the evening, Superintendent of Police Himanshu Verma and CO Ankit Kandari also reached the spot and instructed the police station to investigate the matter from different angles. The Superintendent of Police said that an investigation is being done by forming different teams. Efforts are being made to identify both bodies.
