Bikaner: The team of scientists has completed its survey in the case of subsidence of one and a half bigha land on April 16 in Bikaner of the state. The team was investigating here for the last 6 days. Today the team has returned. Observation of 70 feet pit in a part of the land in Rajasthan's desert i.e. Bikaner is complete, scientists have found out what is the secret of land subsidence. On May 30, the team returned after 6 days of intensive investigation. Geological scientists completed the observation of 70 feet land subsidence in Bikaner. GSI team was in Bikaner for 6 days. On April 30, the scientists completed their work. The team of Geological Survey of India reached Bikaner on 24 April. Observation of sunken land was also done here. The reasons for this have been found out. When a senior scientist of GSI expressed his opinion, the opinion of Geologist Dr. Devesh Khandelwal has also been confirmed. This time he had said that the land sank due to water logging. However, no scientist from GSI spoke to the media. He said that he would submit his report to senior scientists. He is the one who will talk about this. On April 16, about one and a half bigha of land had caved in Sahajrasar village of Lunkaransar tehsil of Bikaner. On April 24, the team of GSI i.e. Geological Survey of India reached the spot. The cause of land subsidence is being ascertained. After the ground subsidence, when the geologist was asked the reason for this, he had to say that once upon a time there must have been a natural source of water under the ground. After it dried, a vacuum was created here. Due to its sudden end the ground would have caved in. But the team of Geological Survey of India is going to reveal the real reason. Geologists from Bikaner said water logging was the cause of land subsidence. The local people were not ready to accept this. He said that this area is a desert and it has been like this for centuries. In such a situation, the question of accumulation of water under the ground does not arise. Some people are calling it a natural disaster, while many people are also calling it a divine wrath. Everyone had their own arguments. The incident of one and a half bigha land suddenly sinking 70 feet below became a matter of surprise for the people. People nearby reported that the area had been struck by lightning several years ago.
