Agartala: Corona cases are increasing rapidly in Tripura on a day. At least 280 more new cases of corona have been reported in the state, after which the number of cases of corona infection in this northeastern state has increased to 8,389. A senior officer of the state health department has given this information on Saturday. He said that one person died from Corona. Till now, a total of 70 patients have died due to corona infection.

The officer further said that an infected person from West Tripura District died on Friday at Agartala Government Medical College here. The officer further informed that on 410 patients recovered from the infection. With this, a total of 6,061 patients have been cured so far. Currently, 2,240 infected people are being treated in separate hospitals. Maharashtra is the most infected state in India. Here the figure of corona patients has crossed 6 lakh 43 thousand, while the death toll has reached beyond 21 thousand.
