Approximately 15 million people have paid their respects to Ram Lalla at Ayodhya's newly constructed Ram Janmabhoomi temple since the pran pratishtha (consecration ceremony) of the idol on January 22, according to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust general secretary Champat Rai. Around 100,000 people visit the temple town daily to offer their prayers to Lord Ram Lalla. The pran pratishtha ceremony of the 51-inch-tall idol of Lord Ram Lalla, crafted by renowned sculptor Arun Yogiraj, took place on January 22 and was presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the presence of around 8,000 VIPs. Regarding the temple's future plans, Champat Rai announced the construction of a 14-foot-wide security wall around the Janmabhoomi temple, known as the 'Parkota. ' "The ground floor of the temple, where the 'Pran Pratistha' of Ram Lalla took place, is complete, and work on the first floor is underway. A 14-foot-wide security wall called 'Parkota' will be constructed around the temple," Rai explained. The temple grounds will include several small temples dedicated to deities such as Lord Shiva, Lord Hanuman, Maharishi Valmiki, and Maharishi Vashishtha. Once the project is completed, the Ram temple will be able to accommodate 25,000 pilgrims at a time. Rai also noted that 600 plants in the temple's premises have been protected, and the temple is equipped with water and sewer treatment facilities, ensuring it is self-sufficient and minimizing the impact on Ayodhya residents.
